Daniel Pennac

Daniel Pennac is a highly popular contemporary French writer. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, he was a long-time teacher and his works are widely used in schools. He is known for his children's heroes – the dog named Dog, the one-eyed wolf, Kamo – but above all for The Malaussène Saga, three volumes of which have been published in Georgian by Agora. He has received many literary prizes, including the Critics' Prize, the France Inter Book Prize, the Renaudot Prize, and the Blue Metropolis Grand Prix.
