Jacqueline Siradze

Jacqueline Siradze is a French language specialist, literary scholar, and critic. She was born in Brussels, Belgium. She graduated from the Faculty of Western European Languages at Tbilisi State University. She is the author of numerous articles and many engaging academic works. Her father, Shalva Siradze, was taken prisoner during World War II. In 1945, he was liberated by the Americans and remained in Belgium, where he lived until 1963, when he returned to his homeland with his two young daughters.
