Renaud S. Lyautey (1967-1922) is a pen name of the French diplomat Renaud Salins. After graduating from the Faculty of International Relations at the Sorbonne University in Paris, he joined the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and traveled widely. He worked in the French Embassies in Cuba, Iran, the United States, Oman... Renaud Salins was a Chevalier of the National Order of Merit since 2010. In the years 2012-2016, he was the French Ambassador in Georgia. Renaud S. Salins is the author of two diplomatic novels: “Les Saisons invertes” and “Le Baignoire de Staline”.
