Beso Khvedelidze is a Georgian prose writer, screenwriter, healer, and traveler. Between 1990 and 2020, he studied journalism, literature, screenwriting, and alternative medicine (black magic) in Tbilisi and Kathmandu. He participated in the war in Abkhazia as a war correspondent. From 1994 to 2003, he worked as a music host (DJ) at various FM radio stations in Tbilisi. He has received numerous literary awards: “Saba” (2003, 2012), “PEN-Marathon” (2002, 2005), “Stork” (2007), “Litsakhelebi” (2010), and the Cross of Saint Nino (2011). His works have been translated into Russian, English, German, Romanian, Czech, Polish, Slovak, Ukrainian, Armenian, Azeri, Lithuanian, Swedish, Persian, and Uzbek. He is now being introduced to readers with a collection of dramatic texts.
