Guranda Datashvili is a French language teacher, a member of the jury for the international French language diploma (DELF/DALF), and a translator. As a French language specialist, she has completed numerous training programs. She has been engaged in translation work since 2001. She has translated into Georgian several major works from French, including The Sea Wall and The Ravishing of Lol V. Stein by Marguerite Duras, Gold and Rhum by Blaise Cendrars, works by Albert Camus, and others.
