Tamaz Lezhava

Tamaz Lezhava was one of the key figures in the field of electrochemistry in Georgia — a scientist and specialist, a teacher, and the author of numerous innovative projects. He spent his entire professional life at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, where he ultimately served as Deputy Director. He published over 130 scientific papers and held around 20 patents and authorship certificates. He participated in international conferences and forums dedicated to electrochemistry, taught at higher education institutions, and was Secretary-Academician and a member of the Presidium of the Georgian Academy of Engineering. He made a significant contribution to the development of electrochemical production in Georgia. He was awarded the Petre Melikishvili Prize.
